Why am I doing this ride?

In 1997, my mom took on the California AIDS Ride, and by the same time the next year, I was on the way. Seven years later, my dad followed in her footsteps and completed the AIDS/LifeCycle. Now, 25 years later, it's my turn to continue the legacy and make a difference in the fight against HIV/AIDS. I’m riding almost 600 miles to honor both of my parents, my great uncles Buzz and Paul who lost their lives to AIDS, and to help raise awareness and funds for this important cause.
